Summary

Supply is about the provision of components and services, whether these are reused, rented, bought, or built. Whichever way they are provided, specification and modeling are required. Specification ensures that the appropriate services are provided, and modeling ensures that the designers interface with these services in their own designs. If the component or service is built, then the models are more comprehensive as they include the internal design of the component.
