A resource group is a logical grouping unit for Azure resources. It is a logical container that makes it easier to access and manage related resources. Resource groups are also indicated in your billing statements, making it easier to identify which application/environment the charge is for.
For the purposes of this book, all the resources we provide belong to the same application and environment, and will be deployed into the same resource group. Let' s call this resource group "serverless".
