Configuring the repository

Note that you can manage the new repository using Git commands from the command line/PowerShell if you have Git tools installed on your machine, or from Visual Studio. The process that follows outlines adding the repository using Visual Studio.

To add the existing code in our TextEvaluation functions project to the new source control repository we've created in VSTS, execute the following steps:

  1. In the bottom-right corner of the Visual Studio IDE, click on Add to Source Control -> Git, as seen in the following screenshot:
