All of the Metrics dashboards collect the telemetry reported by your application and retain it for 90 days. Metrics dashboards aggregate data and display it over a certain time range with a certain time granularity.
Metrics dashboards include many preconfigured dashboards, and also the Metrics Explorer where you can add custom dashboards of your own. All Metrics dashboards are highly configurable and can be modified to suit your specific needs.
In the following section, we will overview a number of dashboards that are very useful in monitoring Azure Functions. We will also discuss some of the dashboard configuration options with the example of the performance dashboard.
