Azure SQL Database

Azure SQL Database comes in a number of pricing/performance tiers--Basic, Standard, Premium, and Premium RS (with each further tier broken down into levels).

Each tier has a certain maximum size and available number of Database Transaction Units (DTUs), which are a blended measure of CPU, memory, and IO. For a more detailed explanation of DTUs, visit https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/sql-database/sql-database-what-is-a-dtu.
