In the long run, setting up an online store is the easy part. As you know from selling on eBay, managing the day-to-day operations is where the real work happens.

And, in many ways, managing your own e-commerce website isn’t much different from managing your eBay sales. You have to keep track of inventory, pack and ship the items you sell, deal with customer concerns and complaints, and the like. This is where you get your hands dirty—and is the topic of this chapter.
