Chapter 43. Prepare your selling tools

For a day of selling, Sales Ambassadors need a number of items available at their fingertips. When a customer comes in, any break to look for something disturbs the contact.

What are your tools? Are they all within reach and ready to be used? A calculator with a dead battery, an outdated catalog, or a polishing cloth that is dirty means going into the back room and digging through drawers.

The customer expects a professional, not a disorganized person. When everything is easily available, the Sales Ambassador can concentrate on making the sale.

Being organized also saves time; the smoother the contact is, the more likely the sale will take place.

Before the boutique opens, make sure your tools are ready.
