Access The locally programmed time period, 7 to 8 p.m. EST, immediately preceding television network prime time. See also Prime Access.

Ad Clicks On the Internet, the number of times a user clicks on an online ad, often measured as a function of time (“ad clicks per day”). Also called click-throughs.

Ad Click Rate On the Internet, the number of ad clicks as a percentage of ad views, or the number of times an ad is clicked on by users as a percentage of the number of times an ad was downloaded and viewed by users.

Addressability The ability of a cable system to send a program to a designated home converter (address). Made possible by a microchip in the TV set converter box.
