In some collectibles categories, certain manufacturers are very protective of their trademarks and copyrights. To that end, eBay offers its Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) program. As described at pages.ebay.com/help/tp/programs-vero-ov.html, the VeRO program is designed to protect intellectual property rights by providing a process for intellectual property owners to report listings that infringe their rights.
