Lesson 1: Introducing Windows Networking

This lesson introduces the basic concepts behind Windows networking. The lesson begins by introducing the concept of layered networking and then goes on to describe TCP/IP, the multilayer suite of protocols upon which Windows networks are based. Next, the lesson describes how to configure basic networking properties in Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2. Finally, the lesson concludes by explaining how to perform basic network troubleshooting with TCP/IP utilities.
