In Act One we explored the consequences of our blindness to external factors—our inability to see other parts of our system and our system’s history. In Act Two we will examine our internal blindness—our inability to see ourselves and the actions we take, without awareness or choice, that lead us out of the possibilities of partnership and into relationships of opposition, antagonism, disappointment, and warfare.

In Act Two we see human systems as constantly shifting patterns of relationship. Sometimes we are Top in a Top/Bottom relationship and sometimes we are Bottom in that relationship. Sometimes we are Middle between two or more Ends pulling at us and sometimes we are one of several Ends tugging ...
