About the Authors

Glenn Hubbard is the Dean of the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University where he is also Russell L. Carson Professor of Finance and Economics. He served as Chairman of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers from February 2001 to March 2003. During that time, he also chaired the Economic Policy Committee of the OECD.

Hubbard received his PhD in economics from Harvard University in 1983. He serves as a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research, on the Panel of Economic Advisors of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and as cochair of the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation.
