Introduction

When developing your organization’s security program, there are three primary areas that compose any integrated program: physical security, information security, and personnel security. These areas look at the following issues:

• physical security safeguards people and prevent unauthorized access to equipment, facilities, material, and documents;

• information security assesses potential vulnerabilities and threats along with their impacts to critical information and resources; and
