Obtaining the ASA/PIX Version 7 and ASDM Software
To obtain a version of the ASA/PIX version 7 operating system, follow these steps:
Step 1. | Log on to Cisco.com using a valid username and password. |
Step 2. | Navigate to Technical Support and then Downloads. |
Step 3. | When you are on the download pages, navigate to Cisco Secure Software and then Cisco Secure PIX Firewall Software.
Note Occasionally, Cisco changes the look of its website, so these steps might vary depending on when you download the software. |
Step 4. | Proceed to the location marked Download PIX Firewall Software. On this page, you see the binary image for the PIX version 7 operating system. |
Step 5. | Click the image name. You will be prompted to open or save the image. Click Save and put ... |
