One fascinating aspect about technology and information security and assurance—if not the most fascinating aspect to me—is that problems and questions seemingly always come before solutions and answers, and the answers oftentimes prove quite elusive. It’s like playing a game of chess where strategy, tactics, and time horizon connect, and you find yourself facing a skilled opponent who knows your weaknesses, and how to exploit them.
