Introduction to CiscoWorks 2000

The Router MC runs under CiscoWorks 2000. However, you do not have to purchase the CiscoWorks application to run the Router MC. Either VMS 2.1 Common Services or CiscoWorks 2000 is required to run the Router MC. VMS 2.1 Common Services provides a CiscoWorks 2000 shell you can use to access the Router MC.

Accessing the Router MC

To access the Router MC, you point your browser to the server on which it resides and add port 1741 to the URL. For instance, if the server running the Router MC is at 10.20.30.99, type http://10.20.30.99:1741 in the browser's address window.
