Chapter 10. Group Portraits Without Formality

Whenever you bring people together for a group portrait, you’ll need to combat their conditioned motor reflex to line up shoulder to shoulder like a class photo. To loosen up your subjects, start by paying attention to everyone in the photograph so each person feels involved in the process.
