2. Organizing Files

One of the main functions of the Adobe Bridge is organizing your files. There are many different approaches to file organization. You could organize your files by project, file type, color space, etc. Whichever method you decide on, the Bridge can handle it. Think of the Bridge as a window into your computer’s file system. No files actually get stored in the Bridge. Instead, the Bridge looks into the files and folders on your computer’s hard drive. So if you delete or rename a file in the Bridge, you’re actually renaming the file just as if you had gone to the Finder or the Windows Explorer to do it.
