One of the more useful applications for a virtual world is the opportunity for education. Classrooms and experiments can easily be recreated allowing students worldwide to participate. Several universities have already seen the value of Second Life and offer students a new and exciting way to further their education. Beyond the university, other innovators have come in-world to open classrooms and offer their services. New users can also learn how to use Second Life and begin to create their own objects and code.
