60. Seattle School

In this instance, Seattle School is not the local public education system. They are an experimental arts group exploring a wide range of performance disciplines including space, memory, music, and audience. Since founding Seattle School in 2002, Mike Min, Liza Keckler, and Korby Sears have transformed dilapidated motels into art exhibits, created and sold game show concepts, developed a three-hour opera based on the Seattle WTO riots of 1999, and collaborated with more than a dozen of the city’s leading arts organizations.
