18. SIFF

Carl Spence and Deborah Person have their hands full as the Artistic Director and Managing Director, respectively, for the Seattle International Film Festival. SIFF is more than a month-long annual festival; it’s an innovative, year-round organization that brings the international and independent film industries together to discover original and diverse films. Spence and Person have also just announced the SIFF Film Center, a hub for a variety of film activities around the city. Seattle: Wassa Dance class, Harvard Exit movie theater, Lunar Orbiters at the Space Needle, Vios Café, kayaking or canoeing the Arboretum, The Maldives country-western rock band.
