06. Nancy Pearl

Nancy began working with the Seattle Public Library in 1993 and went on to devote herself to the Washington Center for the Book and write the best-selling Book Lust, which has grown into a series. Through her writings, her wildly popular recommendations, and innovative government programs, she has inspired millions to read. As an award-winning author and literary critic, Nancy is no doubt Seattle’s—and perhaps the world’s—most popular librarian.
