Future Directions

Given the ubiquitous need for unified, understandable access to large volumes of heterogeneous data, and the rapidity and cost-effectiveness of Search Based Application platforms in meeting this need, one can anticipate a sharp increase in the number of search-based applications deployed in the enterprise and over the Internet in the coming decade.
