28 Using a Production Database

Seam is an ideal solution for developing database-driven web applications. However, so far in this book, for the sake of simplicity, we did not use a production-quality relational database in our example applications. Instead, all our examples used the HSQL database engine embedded into the JBoss AS to store data.
