8. VMware, VSphere, VMotion, and VXLAN

In the previous chapters, we looked at virtualization in the data center, from both a server and network perspective, but from a software-agnostic viewpoint. This was fine when dealing with high-level overviews of the theory behind the technology and its operation. However, now we need to move forward to discuss lower-level details, and that will require looking at specific hypervisors rather than generic examples.
