Editing a Document Template

So you think the document templates are the best invention since chocolate and hazelnuts got together, except you want to make a few changes to a template. Add a few items here, take out a few there — make it work for you.

No problem. It’s easy to modify a template so that all future documents created from it have the changes. The only downside is that changes to the template don’t affect documents you’ve already created.

Select the template that you want to edit in the Template Sheets folder, which opens that template in the Editor pane. Then, make the desired changes to the template in the Editor.

After you make your changes, when you add a new document based on the edited template, the changes appear in that document.
