Removing a Collection

If you no longer want a standard or saved search collection that you created, you can remove it by following these steps:

1. If the Collections pane isn’t visible, click the Collections button in the toolbar to view it.

2. Select the tab of the collection that you want to remove.

3. Click the Delete Collection button in the Collections header (refer to Figure 18–1).

A warning window appears to remind you the action can’t be undone.

4. Click OK.

The selected collection is removed.

Viewing a single collection

To quickly view a collection without opening the Collections pane, choose View⇒Collections, and then choose the desired collection from the submenu that appears. The selected collection appears in the sidebar. You can close the collection by clicking the X button at the bottom of the sidebar.
