Do you like to storyboard? Need to follow a subplot or character from start to finish? Want to get a high-level view of your latest chapter? Then the Corkboard is for you.
The basis of the Corkboard is the index card. Each index card represents an item in the Binder and displays the Synopsis, if one exists (see Chapter 3 for more on the Synopsis). Index cards can also display Label and keyword colors, as well as Status values.
Even if you prefer to play with your story on paper index cards first, you can transfer your scenes to the Scrivener Corkboard when you’re ready to start writing. After you enter them, you always have them with you when working on your story, you can quickly edit them, and you don’t have to worry about the cards getting out of order.
