OF ALL THE POWERFUL TOOLS in Photoshop, the most unrecognized are those that can be used to separate relevant features from the background (segmenting). These tools can operate far more effectively than those included with more expensive scientific software. As an added benefit, few of these tools need to be used to garner results unattainable in other software programs.
