Summary
In this chapter, we studied various aspects that need consideration while designing an enterprise level search solution. We tried to understand how one can try to gather the information regarding the current system landscape, and how a design can be carried out. We also went through design workflows supported by Apache Solr. Finally, we went through the case study of designing a search engine for software IT firms.
