Building from the source

You can also build Zeppelin with all the latest changes from the GitHub repository. If you want to build from the source, you must first install the following dependencies:

Git: Any version
Maven: 3.1.x or higher
JDK: 1.7 or higher

If you haven't installed Git and Maven yet, check out the Build requirements at http://zeppelin.apache.org/docs/latest/install/build.html#build-requirements. Due to page limitations, we have not discussed all the steps in detail. Interested readers should refer to this URL more details on Apache Zeppelin website at http://zeppelin.apache.org/.
