Chapter 2. Detail Reports

A detail report lists information at the observation level of a data set. The examples in this chapter show you ways in which you can prepare detail reports. Included in several reports are summaries of the detailed information. Some examples require that you order or restructure the observations in the analysis data set before executing the report procedure. The examples include explanations of these preparatory steps.

Two procedures, PRINT and REPORT, create the detail reports in this chapter. Most examples apply formats defined by PROC FORMAT, which adds explanatory information to the report.
