Appendix A. Creating the Example Data Sets
This appendix presents information about the example data sets that are used in this book. Many of the data sets are used in multiple examples. Table A.1 below links the data sets to the examples where they’re analyzed. The remaining sections describe each of the example data sets. The data set information is presented in the order in which the data sets are analyzed in this book.
The description for each example data set includes the DATA step that creates the data set, a few lines of raw data, and an excerpt of the PROC CONTENTS of the data set.
