Overview
Introduction
Combining data vertically refers to the process of concatenating
or interleaving data. In some cases the data might be in SAS data
sets. In other cases the data might be stored in raw data files.
In this chapter you
learn how to create a SAS data set by concatenating multiple raw data
files using the FILENAME and INFILE statements. You also learn how
to concatenate SAS data sets using PROC APPEND.
