• Stop and start the SAP system to make sure it is working properly.
• Schedule the background jobs.
• Import the correct profiles in transaction code RZ10.
• Execute SGEN to generate all the ABAP loads.
• Perform post-steps as per the upgrade guide.
• Perform any customer-specific steps.
• Take a complete offline backup.
• Release the system for productive business use.
