Upgrade the GUI
Before you start the actual upgrade, the following items should be downloaded and a detailed upgrade script should be prepared for planning and executing the upgrade:
• Download the upgrade master guide and technical upgrade guide from http://service.sap.com/instguides.
• Download upgrade OSS Notes (Central Upgrade Note 1293744, Application-specific Upgrade Note 1292069, and Database-specific Upgrade Note 819655).
• Get the upgrade keyword from OSS Note 1292069.
• Download the upgrade master DVD and needed media as per the upgrade guide for your operating system and the database.
• Download the JCE Policy ZIP file as per OSS Note 1240081.
