Searching OSS Notes
One of the main benefits of SAP Service Marketplace is accessing the OSS Notes database. A Basis administrator and the project team members can search this database for any known code fixes or workarounds to software issues that are encountered during the course of implementation and for production support operations as well. The SAP OSS Notes database search screen can be accessed at https://websmp102.sap-ag.de/notes. The screen shown in Figure 18-3 appears, where you have the option of searching for a note based on a search keyword, or if you already know the note number, you can enter it in the Number field.
