SAProuter
As mentioned, SAProuter acts as an “application-level gateway,” meaning it controls access to the customer’s SAP systems from the SAP support network and other external systems. Once installed and configured, the SAProuter program will allow network connections based on the configuration entries in the saprouttab table. SAProuter installation and configuration can be broken down into the following four steps:
