SAP sizing helps to estimate the hardware resources that would be needed to install the system. Incorrect SAP sizing results in undersized systems that could affect the project implementation in terms of system growth, stability, and performance. SAP sizing should be done starting in the design phase and continue even after go-live to plan for capacity planning of the SAP system landscape.
