Putting the Pieces of PKI to Work
This section covers how to implement these components in an actual production network.
We have taken a look at the ingredients for the recipe called PKI, the public key infrastructure. Both the Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) and Cisco routers can use digital certificates. Let’s take a look at installing digital certificates on the ASA, using the Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM). Figure 5-4 shows the main Device Dashboard of ASDM.
