Accidentally accessing storage over ISLs One common topology mistake that we have encountered in the field is to have SVC paths from the same node to the same disk array on multiple core switches that are linked together ( see Figure 1- 4). This is commonly encountered in environments where the SVC is not the only device accessing the disk array.
