In this lesson, you learn how to find specific articles on the Wikipedia site.

Conducting a Search

Searching for information on Wikipedia is similar to using a traditional search engine. You can use the search box on the www.wikipedia.org home page or the one in the navigation pane that appears on every Wikipedia page.

To search Wikipedia, enter your query into any one of these search boxes. Your query should consist of one or more keywords related to the topic in which you’re interested; the more precise you can describe what you’re searching for, the better the results will be.
