In this lesson, you learn how to upload videos to the YouTube site.
Uploading a Video from Your PC
Most videos you create with a camcorder or webcam are saved as files on your computer’s hard drive. This video file is what you upload to YouTube.
To upload a video file, it must be in a YouTube-approved format, be less than 10 minutes long, and be smaller than 100MB. If your video meets these requirements, you’re ready to upload.

To upload a video, follow these steps:
1. Click the Upload button at the top of any YouTube page, then select Upload Video File.
