Understanding Channels and Subscriptions

On YouTube, each user has his own channel. Your channel shows all the videos you’ve uploaded, just as a television or cable channel shows its distinctive programming.

Plain English: Channel

A user’s home page on the YouTube site. A channel includes all the videos uploaded by a given user, as well as that user’s Favorite videos.

You can visit a user’s channel by clicking on that person’s user name on any video page. You’ll find the user’s name in the information box to the right of the video viewing window.
