In this hour, you’ll learn to use Core Audio’s Audio Toolbox and Audio File Services, which let you play and record sounds and music. You’ll start by synthesizing your own sound to help you understand how sound is produced. Then, you’ll learn to play compressed audio from an MP3 file and record your own audio. Finally, you’ll learn how video compression works, and you’ll learn about the API that you can use to show your own videos.
