This introduction is kept intentionally short. Teach Yourself Access 2002 Programming in 24 Hours is for the busy professional. I will just take a minute to tell you why you should buy this book.

This book was written specifically for those who know Access from the perspective of a power user. It was also written as a companion to Sams Teach Yourself Access 2002 in 21 Days. This means you will not learn about defining a database, normalization, and Access menus in this book. (The companion book will teach you that stuff.) This book is for the nonprogrammer.
