Part 2. At a Glance

Week 2 will get you started building on the skills you gained in Week 1. You already know the basics of tables, forms, and reports. This week you will learn to make more sophisticated ones.

Day 8, “A Macro Primer,” you will learn how to create Access macros and how they have a valuable place in developing databases. You will learn under what situations they are best used and when you should turn to another alternative.

Day 9, “Refining Your Tables,” you will learn how imperative it is that you correctly construct your data tables. You will learn just how much the design of tables can enhance or inhibit your database. You will learn how effective Access can be at insuring data integrity with validation rules and input masks.
