Chapter 20. Maintaining and Securing Access Databases

Today’s lesson covers some pretty mundane topics. But regardless of how mundane these topics turn out to be, they’re some of the most important for keeping your database running.

When your database application is in its infancy, these topics won’t appear to apply. But as your project ages and becomes more successful (as they all do, right?) you’re going to need to be familiar with how to maintain and secure your database. You need to maintain it against “normal wear and tear” and you need to secure it against malicious intent.
