During Day 14, “Special Query Uses,” you learned how to use queries to both manipulate large amounts of data at once and to create or modify tables within the database. Beginning today and continuing through Day 19, “Extending Access Using VBA,” you’ll learn how to perform these same activities, plus many, many more, using Microsoft’s Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). VBA is a programming language that is based on Microsoft’s BASIC language and provides you with direct access to the data and structure of the current database and beyond.
