Key Terms
Review the following list of key terms:
Blacklist— A list of servers that aren’t allowed to forward mail messages to the domain.
Email body— The section of an email message that includes the text of the message.
Email header— The preliminary section of an email message, consisting of informational fields and associated values.
Email reader— A client email application that is responsible for sending mail, retrieving mail, and managing the user interface through which the user interacts with the mail system.
Email virus— A software virus propagated as an attachment to an email message.
Graylisting— A system for detecting spam servers by rejecting the initial delivery and waiting to see if the server resends the message.
